Hi, I actually transform a former site to a new site. import of datas was ok.Some comments are online, some are not. Altough comments are allowed in “Screen opotion” and in Einstellungen –> Diskussionen and in “quick edit” as well. New blog posts don’t enable comments.

    What can I do?
    best regards

    Hi Wolfgang!

Please edit your blog post and click on “Screen options” on the right top corner and check “Discussion” then scroll down and check “Allow comments” – http://i.imgur.com/HpmC0ZA.png
You can use Magic wand to insert shortcode of Comments element.

    Cheers!

    Hey!

Are you using Advanced Layout Builder for your posts? If so, you can add Commenets element under content elements to your posts

Thanks, it appears to work I have to test it now.
But why are the comments not automatically? Do I have to insert the comments element manually on each blog? And: How should I writhe blog posts without Advanced Layout Builder? Is there another – a better – possibility?

    best regards

    Hey Wolfgang

If you are using Advanced Layout Builder, yes, you can add comments element.
You can simply switch to default editor and create your blog posts using default WordPress editor

The comments element is not in the “insert theme shortcodes”. Where is this located within the default editor?

    Hi,

It’s the second last element in the Content Elements tab.

    Thanks,
    Rikard
