Has this been improved any since version: 3.5.4?

Kind of annoying seeing low scores from benchmarking tools because of this.

    Hey,

It is better to delegate that to plugins (functionality) rather than the theme (appearance).

I tried the plugin and it seems to work well.

I am however having an issue with some animation not working properly in Chrome while working fine in Safari and Firefox. (URL attached in private mode.)

    Hi,

It appears to be a js conflict. When i check in the console tab there are a couple of errors.

A plugin conflict may be one of the reason for this issue.
To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.

    Thanks for your cooperation :)

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    All plugins have been disabled
Wordpress and Enfold are up to date.

    Hi,

There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

    Best regards,
    Andy

    I deleted the theme folder.
Downloaded a fresh copy from Themeforest.
    Uploaded it via FTP.
    Issue persists.

    Hey!

The CSS is still been cached.
You need to disable your Cache then clear and hard refresh, so you can be able to use it propely.

Please let us know if we can do anything else for you.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    CloudFlare’s cache was cleared.
    Browser cache is cleared.
Visited site in Chrome in Incognito mode which doesn’t use any cached content.
.htaccess has no expires info within it.
    Issue persists.

    Hi,

Does this only happens when BWP is enabled?

    Best regards,
    Josue

    >Does this only happens when BWP is enabled?

Obviously not. The issue is still there despite the plugin being disabled.
(As I mentioned 8 days ago.)

Auto-minify is also turned off within CloudFlare

    Hi,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi,

I tried to troubleshoot this issue but the login credentials you provided do not work for me. Would you mind checking once again and then send us working login credentials?

The user role for the account you send us should be set to ‘administrator’ so we can try to disable all plugins and add custom code (if necessary) to resolve the issue.

    Best regards,
    Andy

I just tried the login I provided you with above with copy/paste and it worked for me. I was able to login. I did however discover that it wasn’t set to Admin role which I have corrected.

Can you describe in more detail what you mean by “do not work”? I’m trying to establish if there’s a typo in the login, some kind of firewall block happening, or if you were referring to permissions level.

…so we can try to disable all plugins

For the 3rd time… all plugins have been disabled since June 9th.

    Hi,

your code block element causes this issue. Remove it and it should work fine. Use Quick CSS field inside your backend for any css styling instead.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    #653947

That did not resolve the issue

But I did manage to figure it out on my own.

Turns out the styles for the heading in question…
    text-indent:-9999999em;
    was the culprit.

    Using
    text-indent:-9999999px;
    fixed the problem.

Apparently the animations for the blocks below didn’t play well with that text indent using em instead of px

Allthough this is an old thread – i will give some advice using text-indent: google does not like that – because some uses it to implement text or “meta” infos to websites without concerning to the content. Sometimes they rank that pages back. Bad SEO !
