    Hi,

I’m using a large background video in the hero banner of my homepage. It worked for a couple of months and then stopped. The video is still playing fine on Vimeo and I’ve tried deactivating all plugins to no avail.

Any idea what could be causing this?

    Thanks,
    Laurence

    Hi AboveDigital!

Is this the URL your using?

    //player.vimeo.com/video/116170117

Try placing the http: in front of it.

    http://player.vimeo.com/video/116170117

    Best regards,
    Elliott

    Hi Elliott,

    I’m currently using https://vimeo.com/116170117

I’m afraid neither of the links you posted worked.

    Hey!

May we have temporary admin access to your website so we can take a closer look?

    Cheers!

No problem, Dake; your login details are in the Private Content section.

    Hi,

Going directly to the URL of your video doesn’t work so I would check the that first: https://vimeo.com/116170117

Sorry, there is no video here.
Either it was deleted or it never existed in the first place. Such are the mysteries of the Internet.

    Hi Rikard,

The video is hidden on Vimeo but still embeddable. I’ve used this technique on other websites with no problem.

I’ve just made it fully visible everywhere just to check, but to no avail.

    Thanks,
    Laurence

    Hey!

You’re using an older version of Enfold (3.1.2). Please update Enfold to the latest version (3.4.6).

    Cheers!

My developer ended up having to do some JS tweaks on this but won’t tell me what. Regardless, consider this topic closed!

    Thanks
