    Hi there,

    We recently upgraded to Enfold 3.5.2 from 3.1, and switched to a Child Theme at the same time.

    There were many added features, and I think I am almost sorted but I’m just having one issue.

    I would like Special Headings to be one colour (#919191), and all other headings to be another (#f7f7f7). This is how it used to be before the upgrade. I think that since there was such a big jump in versions, new styling tools/settings were added so our styling did not maintain itself.

    I have tried to use Alternate Styling to achieve this, but my color sections use the “main content” style. I would prefer not to adjust this manually as I would like the content to be able to be updated as easily as possible.

    Any insight is appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi SpeechGraphics1!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us!

    Try going to Advanced Styling in the Enfold theme options. Then select the heading type for your Special Headings from the drop down option. Adjust the color the element you selected and this should affect only that element.

    Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Regards,
    Jordan

    Hi Jordan,

    Thanks for getting back to my. Unfortunately that fix won’t work. If you look at the page I linked privately below, you will see what I mean.

    In that example (and on most of my pages) the Special Header uses H3, but so do the in-line headers. So if I override H3 to be grey, all of them will be. I actually tried this fix initially.

    I will change the Main Content Headings to white and manually change the Special Headings to grey as a stop gap, but I would really appreciate any additional insight.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    Add the general styling of the heading tag in the style.css file or the Quick CSS field:

    .main_color h3 {
        color: red;
    }

    .alternate_color h3 {
         color: blue;
    }

    Adjust the color value as needed.

    Regards,
    Ismael
