After I updated to enfold version 3.1 the custom background images on a lot of my color sections will not load for some reason on my mobile devices (iPhone 6 and iPad 4). ) (See Images) They load fine on my computer browser though. Even when I flush the cache on my mobile device the same thing happens. I’ve also tried this on different mobile devices that I have never loaded the site on and still the same thing happens. Any idea what could be causing this and how I can fix it? I tried reloading the theme via FTP to see if that would fix it already. Thanks in advance!
March 18, 2015 at 6:40 am #413416Hi djshortkut!
I had a look on the site using ipad mini and iphone 4 using latest versions of Chrome and they display fine on my end. What browser are you using to produce these errors? Is flushing cache a required step?
Regards,
RikardMarch 18, 2015 at 6:48 am #413417I’m using Safari on the iPhone 6 and iPad 4 and every time I pull up the site the custom background images in certain color sections won’t load. This just started happening since I updated to version 3.1 so not sure what is happening. Flushing the cache doesn’t seem to fix the problem either. Not sure why this is happening.
March 18, 2015 at 6:53 am #413420The interesting thing is that it’s the same color sections that have the issue every time. I also tried deactivating all of the plugins but that didn’t help either.
March 18, 2015 at 9:13 am #413468I’m having this same issue.
March 18, 2015 at 11:54 am #413531I’m also having the same issue. It was working fine and then it wasn’t. I have tried with using different images, deleting the colour section and replacing it with a new one, and deleting the page and starting again but still nothing.
March 18, 2015 at 1:06 pm #413571I have the same problem on mobile devices. I use Safari and Mercury
March 19, 2015 at 5:34 am #414154Hey!
It seems like a lot of people are experiencing the same problem. Please include a link to your sites and specific steps to reproduce, browsers+version etc.
@djshortkut, I checked your front page again and the ipad version looks exactly like what I’m seeing on desktop. What pages are you getting these errors on?
Best regards,

On Fixed or scroll mode i see the complete picture.
On parallax ba iPhone i see the complete image, but does not zoom the complete color section.
On iPad i see only a thin line of the picture.March 20, 2015 at 5:02 am #415014This reply has been marked as private.March 20, 2015 at 2:31 pm #415269I’m hoping this bug will be fixed in the next release.
March 23, 2015 at 6:58 pm #416584Hey!
There should be a new update tomorrow with a fix for this. After updating clear your browser cache and let us know if that fixes the color section backgrounds on mobiles.

ElliottMarch 24, 2015 at 4:12 pm #417132FYI Just updated to version 3.1.2 and this update fixes the issues with the color sections not showing up on mobile devices. You can go ahead and close this thread once everybody confirms. Thanks!

@djshortkut, great! Let’s keep this thread open though until everyone gets their issues fixed.
Cheers!
RikardMarch 25, 2015 at 9:16 am #417613By me also. It is fixed.
ThxMarch 25, 2015 at 2:52 pm #417748Hmm – it’s not working for me yet. I just tried installing Enfold on an unused blog to test it out with the update and fullscreen images are working there so there must be something blocking it on my site.
I have two attempts at a fullscreen image here: http://www.earthhawk.uk/home (temp login details in previous message), one fixed and one parallax. I’d be very grateful for any help in sorting this out!
March 26, 2015 at 6:54 am #418334Hi Eva!
I had a look at your color sections and there seems to be some problem when saving them, nothing happens basically, could you try to deactivate all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?

RikardMarch 26, 2015 at 11:35 am #418438Hurrah, it’s working now! It was an External Links plugin that was blocking it from working.
Thank you for your help! -
