    I noticed that only certain sliders can be dragged into a color section.
    Having said that, is there any way to make an easy slider random? or one that will work in a color section?

    The issue is that i have to use a color section if i want a background image. Or should I do it a different way?

    Also the easy slider transitions very slowly in addition to having no control over its “randomness”.

    Hey!

    Fullwidth elements can not be put inside Fullwidth elements, what do you mean by ‘randomness’ exactly?

    Well, the slider image is fixed so i didn’t think it was considered “full width”.

    By “randomness” i mean that the images for the slider show up in a random order every time. Not always 1, 2, 3 etc… 3, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 3, 1, etc…

    I am using the easy slider now, but the transitions timing and image order are fixed, and it takes quite a while to change.

    Just a side note…every time i reply to a post in the support section, i get a strange error message…after the browser becomes blank and i have to refresh…

    ERROR: Slow down; you move too fast.

    ERROR: Duplicate reply detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!

    I only hit submit once every time…?

    Hey!

    If you want a random slider, use the advance layer slider. Set the Slider Settings > Slideshow > Starting slide options to “random”. I’m not sure why you’re getting the error though. Have you tried it on a different browser?

    I tried to use the advanced layer slider and it would not let me bring it into a color section. Is this possible? Using Avia.

    I need the color section because it has the background in it.

    Any other ideas?

    Try using a Text Block and calling LS via shortcode.

    Hi!

    The shortcode would look like this.

    [av_layerslider id='3']

    Or you can try the default LayerSlider shortcode which looks like this.

    [layerslider id="5"]

    It shows you in Dashboard > LayerSlider > All Sliders.
