I’ve created a color section which loads a Youtubevideo. The reason for this is, I wanted a changing background with a fixed text. The video is loading slowly, and not working on mobile either. Besides it gives issues with WPML as well (not loading in the German section in Chrome or Explorer, Firefox works).
I read that it’s now possible to install a slider on Enfold with a fixed text. How can I achieve this in Enfold?Hi boemedia!
Please add Fullscreen Slider to your page under Media Elements in Advanced Layout Builder and then in Fullscreen Slider settings, please make sure to check “Use first slides caption as permanent caption”. Caption is not permanent here, but Fullscreen Slider example can be seen here – http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/transparent-header/

Thanks, but that wouldn’t solve my problem. I cannot seem to use icons in the fullscreen slider like I do now in the color section. Is there no way to show a slider in the background of a color section, instead of a video?

I am afraid using a background slider is currently not possible, sorry :/
You might want to add it as a feature request here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/However this is a complex change and would at the very least require several days to implement, so it would be mandatory to get a bunch of uploads to consider it. Sorry for that…
