Not using a child theme, no plugins enabled. Only thing different is that this is a subsite of a Multisite network.
Color section has a mp4 video background enabled. Color Section is set to be 75% height of browser. Video takes over whole screen and overlaps subsequent sections!
June 18, 2022 at 9:27 pm #1355716Hey Christie,
Thanks for the link to your site, I tried to create a copy of it on a multisite network but couldn’t reproduce your error, please see the link below.
Check to see if you have disabled Self Hosted Videos or any elements.Best regards,
MikeJune 19, 2022 at 10:20 pm #1355787Everything is set to Only load when needed.
Oddly enough, when I switch ‘Self Hosted Videos And Audio Features (WP-Mediaelement Scripts)’ to ‘Always load’ it takes the video out of the background and just sits it on the page like a regular inline video. Something is wrong….June 19, 2022 at 10:41 pm #1355788Hi,
Can you Enable the Avia Layout Builder Debugger I would like to copy the page shortcode to a new page on my demo to see if the error is reproduced.Best regards,
MikeJune 19, 2022 at 11:17 pm #1355791Sure – done.
June 20, 2022 at 12:07 am #1355794Hi,
Thank you, I linked to the test page below, unfortunately the error didn’t reproduce, I compared our theme settings and copied your stylesheet css, I just can’t tell what PHP version you are using, I tested v7.4.30 & v8.1.7 with no issues.
I’m not sure what could be causing this.Best regards,
MikeJune 20, 2022 at 10:16 am #1355813i only can reproduce that a background-video overflows the parent container – if i do force to do so on three different container to set the overflow to visible. But this is something i do not believe that you have done.
June 20, 2022 at 4:58 pm #1355851I notice your copy is loading all the slideshow css/js whereas mine isn’t
June 20, 2022 at 10:59 pm #1355902Hi,
I notice that under Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Change WordPress defaults you don’t have the jQuery options:
these options should be showing:
this typically occurs when jQuery has been forced into the footer, or disabled by the web host, sometimes it’s in the wp-config.php file but different web hosts use different methods.
Try to check your web host options to restore the proper loading of jQuery, if you don’t see this ask your web host to assist.Best regards,
MikeJune 21, 2022 at 2:38 am #1355914Weird, I see all of those options just fine.
I was able to fix the issue by checking “Always load all elements”. Which isn’t a great solution. Curious why the correct files don’t load for me when they’re needed.
