Hello!
I was curious if there was a way to force a Color Sections background video to autoplay? I realize that this feature is normally turned off (for a handful of reasons), but the powers that be are requesting that I add it to our site. The issue came to their attention when they accessed the site via Chrome on iOS and noticed that our videos were requiring to be tapped to play.

Thanks for your question, I assume that you mean only on mobile devices, because I have tested this on desktop Mac with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and the background video in a color section autoplays without user interaction. My test page is listed below, please check. Perhaps your page has an added element that is causing the error, so please link to your test page so we can test on our devices.
If this is about mobile devices we can not help, I’m certain you are familiar with iOS’s stance on the autoplay of videos on mobile devices and how with each update they are cracking down more. We need to follow the rules. You can try using a plugin, and in some cases the layerslider will work (for now), but I would recommend educating the client and pointing out that someday this will not work at all.
