    Hi there

    We have made a color section with the background as an image. We then added a text box on top. It displayed the first time I hit ‘preview’, but after that it disappeared and we cannot get the text to appear no matter what settings we change.

    I’m having this same problem. I still have the original Howdy Guys! special heading box loaded from the demo, but it doesn’t display over the Custom Background Image I loaded into the Section Background area. (I’m very new to this, so it could easily be something I’m overlooking.)

    Thanks. My front page shows the large photo of the orange and black microphone. I would like white text over the left half, just like how Howdy Guys! appears on the homepage of the Business Flat demo.

    The Howdy text box is there but it doesn’t show up, nor does any other type of text I try to overlay.

    Hi,

    I checked for the issue, yes special heading is not showing. You are using an old version of the theme updating the theme to latest version 3.6.1 should fix this issue.

    Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.

    If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/

    Thanks Vinay. You’re right, WordPress was showing that I was running the latest version (3.4.7), even after I just checked for updates last week.

    The plugin you suggested worked. I’m running 3.6.1 now, and the Color Section copy appears. I appreciate your help!

    Hi guys
    I’m having this exact issue – on release 4.4.1
    How was it resolved and how do I resolve it now?
    Have been using grid to create a background image but the colour section would look better if I could make it work
