    Hi. I’m trying to establish a color section with the advanced layout editor but it runs the full width of the page and It knocks out all of my widgets so they begin under my colour section. I can seem to control this section the way I can the other elements and I don’t use CSS. Is there a remedy for this?

    Color Section will always be full width.

    Thanks for your reply, so you are saying you can only use the colour section if you don’t have a sidebar?

    Hi,

    You can use the Color Section even with a sidebar but it will always go full width. It is advisable to place it at the very top or very bottom of pages with sidebar.

    You can also try this:

    1.) Insert the Color Section then insert a 3/4 and 1/4 column below.

    2.) Insert a Sidebar element on the 1/4 column and the content on the 3/4 Column. Create a custom widget or sidebar on Appearance > Widgets.

    3.) You can repeat the steps 1 and 2 if you want to another Color Section and Content + Sidebar below.
