I have an issue with a color section, that works on Firefox, but the background image is missing on Chrome and Safari.

I compared your site in Chrome and Firefox, but I can’t see any differences. Could you let us know how to reproduce the problem you are having please?
Best regards,

On Firefox there is an image in the background. I’m using Chrome Version 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (x86_64) / Firefox 92.0.1 (64-bit) / on Mac OS 11.5.2.
October 12, 2021 at 1:55 pm #1324563Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The background is not displaying on both browsers, which might be due to the stylesheet minification or compression. Are you using a plugin to compress the stylesheets? Please try to disable the plugin temporarily, then check the page again.

IsmaelOctober 15, 2021 at 12:34 pm #1325088Hmm, yes I’m using WP Fastest Cache and it seems to have caused the problem. The section appeared after disabling the plugin. However, I don’t want to stop using it altogether. Any suggestions?
Best,
Boyan
October 15, 2021 at 1:13 pm #1325108This appears to be a continuing issue with Enfold and compression and minification. I have over 20 Enfold sites under management and have never used Enfold’s on-board compression or minification. When opting for a suitable speedup, I have relied upon my web host’s plugin (SG Optimizer-only for SiteGround clients). I have always been okay with its JS & CSS minification. Unless I had certain scripts in the footer code, JS & CSS compression always was fine too. Until 4.8.6.3. On certain sites, I had exactly the same problem as you with color sections. But, the issue was only evident on real mobile browsers (no desktop cheating by squeezing window). Weirder yet, when I loaded the site in an incognito/private mobile browser window the colors were visible. Completely turning off minification on both JS & CSS finally made the colors render properly in a standard mobile window.
BIG QUESTION IS: Why would I be able to see the colors in incognito/private and not in standard mobile window with minification turned on?
October 15, 2021 at 5:18 pm #1325173So what would be a good solution?
October 16, 2021 at 2:54 am #1325185Hi,
Thank you for the info.
Is there a staging or development version of the site where we can reproduce the issue? We have to check the compression options and figure out why enabling minification or why enabling the WP Fastest Cache causes the error. Please post the site details in the private field.

We cannot provide access to a development version.
October 20, 2021 at 4:33 am #1325656Hi,
Thank you for following up.
Would you mind cloning the site to a different domain or server so that we can check it? We cannot reproduce the same issue on our end, even after activating the WP Fastest Cache plugin and enabling minification.
