I need to add color sections. The color section will not go inside an element box so when I put it in without one it changes the color of the entire page from the section down. So then I decide to not fight it anymore and make the whole section black and now the type will not change to white so it can be seen.
Also I tried using the grid row for a color section and this changes the whole bottom section of the page to the same background color. Please help. I like the grid rows but why does it change the bottom sections background color?
June 22, 2015 at 12:04 pm #462624Hi extraeyes!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Do you mind if we take a look at the page? Note that you can change the background color of the color section and grid row elements. If you want to modify the colors of the theme including fonts, default backgrounds, links etc,, go to the Enfold > General Styling panel.

IsmaelJune 22, 2015 at 1:54 pm #462770The front page of http://www.photomagx.com I am trying to use the grid row to make the color stretch all the way across the page. When I put the two boxes, ricketts glen state park and the extra eyes ad in the grid row it changes the entire page to the background color I chose So I have not done this. It remains white and looks horrible.
I only want sections of the background colored not the entire theme. When I use a color section it will not go inside an element box to keep it from stretching. When I drop an color section in and put my images inside Again… the color stretches all the way to the bottom of the page. So I decide to go with it and make the whole bottom black but then my type would not change to white.
I would appreciate your help. I have spent hour after hour yesterday trying to get my desired results. Some images just have to have a black background but not just a box.

I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to achieve, could you please provide us with a screenshot highlighting your issues? Also, we might need a temporary admin login to have a closer look, you can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

RikardJuly 3, 2015 at 6:34 pm #468196I want a box like on your landing page demo for enfold, stretched with images inserted inside. using the color section and gid row makes the entire site turn background turn color, not just the section. There is also a white box that shows up around type and I cannot change the type color any more. I have taken a screen shot but I dont see a way to put the image in here.

I think you are looking to use the portfolio grid? I’m still not sure exactly what you are trying to do though, a screenshot would help us to understand better.

RikardJuly 7, 2015 at 3:08 am #469346Please read back. I feel as if I am in the twighlight zone. I have asked numerous time about using the COLOR SECTION. A color section is an editing tool in the avia layout builder used to create sections of color in the website. I have also already explained that I do not know how to send a screen shot and you told me to send a screen shot after I stated that? I have explained to you where on enfolds own website there is a sample of a color section being used yet you want a screen shot. I am really frustrated at this point. You show the sample color section clearly on the landing page as I had stated.
Can you please forward this to someone who knows the Enfold template and knows the enfold sample website and can locate the landing page of your demo website to see the result I am trying to achieve. Please be sure they know what a color section is that is in the avia bulider of the theme.
Maybe they will be able to explain why the color section extends from the box it is put in to the bottom of the entire page instead of ending in the box. That is why it is called a section. have already forwarded the admin log in for you to see first hand.
Thank you.
