I have this page with 2 sections and need to have this setup in theme so it can be edited without the need for them to know css. I created from a color section with 2 columns each with orange section and a white one with text. Only a color section can have a background color, but the columns don’t have this option. The only way i can do this was through css, but that’s what i want to avoid. Please help.

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. I’m not sure which columns you are referring to as regular layout elements and the Grid Row has the option to set background colours. Could you try to explain a bit further please?

Go to link and you’ll see 2 columns each with orange header. This is done with color section and css. Now i can’t figure out how to get both columns setup in color section and then i used a 1/2 column for each. But only can do a background color for entire column, i need to do one for header (orange) and one for rest (in white). Make sense?

    Hi,

Ok, thanks for the clarification. If I understand you correctly then that is not possible in the layout builder unfortunately. You will need custom CSS for that.

    Best regards,
