Hello
I just started building a site, and when I try to add a color section, I get an error:Nothing Found
Sorry, the post you are looking for is not available. Maybe you want to perform a search?etc.
Without the color section it works and shows the content I put.
ThanksMarch 22, 2018 at 6:49 am #931059Hey opelz,
Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please point out on which page this is happening on.
Best regards,
RikardMarch 22, 2018 at 9:58 pm #931674Hello Rikard,
Thanks for your answer.
I’m adding a private content section the temporary login. You can see it, if you try to add a color section and to update, it gives this error. All other layout elements work OK I think.
I think it is on all pages, but I tried it in About, Quartet, and maybe another one. Thanks,
OferMarch 23, 2018 at 11:28 am #931915Hi Ofer,
I tried to add a color section and some text to the about page. When I press update or preview, I am taken to a 404 page. This is not theme related, it is something in your configuration. Can you share you .htaccess file in private? And/or switch to the default theme and try to make a page?
Best regards,
VictoriaMarch 23, 2018 at 11:39 am #931928Hi Victoria,
Thank you for your answer. How can I share the .htc file? (I don’t know what is it, and where to find it). Or what do you mean by switching to default theme? (I am using the Enfold theme, and just changed some parameteres, I didnt install any other theme or something like that.)Thanks,
OferMarch 24, 2018 at 6:08 pm #932433Hi,
You can access the .htaccess file through FTP as it is the only way to edit it.
Switching to default theme means to change themes to Tweenty Eighteen so we can test if the issue is from there.Best regards,
BasilisMarch 24, 2018 at 9:01 pm #932478Hi Basilis, and all. I really appreciate your answers, I understood though that the support of the Enfold theme is very good before buying it. I do not say that your replies are not good, but I get an answer from a different person every time in a long distance from an answer to answer (more than a day). I really need to advance the design of the site, so could I have a more direct support, such as a phone call or a chat,?
For now, I will uninstall the theme, and go back to 2018, then re-install the enfold one, and I hope it will be fine. I’ll post here if it resolved it, and if not, I’ll appreciate a more personal support if possible.Thank you in advance
March 24, 2018 at 10:05 pm #932490Hi again,
So I Deactivated the Enfold them, deleted it, re-installed it. Then I also reset all the preferences to default. Also un-installed the 2 plugins I use. It is still with the same problem: when I add the color section it goes to 404 page. Please let me know what to do, as soon as you can. Thanks
March 26, 2018 at 6:45 am #932807Hi,
We are very sorry for the inconvenience, there are lots of inquiries and it would take some time to get back to your thread, can you give us ftp access also? so we can try to enable debug and check further, and try to fix it.
Best regards,
NikkoMarch 26, 2018 at 5:51 pm #933124Hello,
What is the FTP access? is it the C-panel access? I’m not sure I can provide this kind of information since it is not safe and it is not completely mine. I can check if I can give you access, but I would like to know what exactly first. Do you have any other way to help? (again, it is really difficult and frustrating with the very long delay period from an answer to answer and everytime from a different person. Please try to answer a bit quicker, since I’m really stuck. Couldn’t you make an exception and provide a telephone support or something like that?If I can’t resolve it, I’ll need to buy another theme).
March 27, 2018 at 5:03 am #933343Hi,
We don’t offer that kind of support, however we would try to answer as much as we can and as fast as we can. FTP stands for file transfer protocol, basically it’s just a way to access your website files remotely, this will allow us to enable debugging, check for error logs and try to fix it. Cpanel is larger, ftp is just the file management part of cpanel, where you can limit us what site/folder we can only check and make changes. To make it clear what we are trying to do, since it’s hard for us to know what’s causing the issue since there’s no error showing up in the console, we are trying to enable debugging: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress then we would use the information produced by it to know what causes the errors and try to fix it without guessing. You can just give us temporary ftp access, then remove it or change password once fixed.

Thanks, the ftp access is working, however there’s nothing to it (see screenshot in private content). We would need access the folder where the wp-config.php file is located, wp-content folder, etc.

NikkoMarch 27, 2018 at 10:40 am #933552Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Could you please give me more information. I don’t know how to provide you with this access. I went to the c-panel, and created a new FTP access with the site and unlimited quata. I don’t know what to do more…
ThanksMarch 27, 2018 at 10:56 am #933562Hi,
You just need to make sure it’s the right Domain and the Directory is on public_html.
Best regards,
NikkoMarch 31, 2018 at 9:48 am #935536Should I give you access to the c-panel? I think it is not safe enough, but I really don’t succeed to create something different than the one I created before. I named it this time public_html, and it puts the directory there, but I really don’t think I did what you mean.
Please let me know.April 2, 2018 at 1:39 pm #936080Hi,
Thank you for the update. I was able to connect via FTP but there’s nothing in that directory. Please adjust the accessible directory and ask your hosting provider to upgrade PHP from 5.6.34 to 7.0 or later versions.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 3, 2018 at 4:36 pm #936646Hello,
So I contacted the hosting, and updated the PHP version to 7.0. Thank you for debugging the problem
ThanksApril 4, 2018 at 7:46 am #936997Hi,
Thank you for the update. I was able to connect to the file server but the server went down while I’m working on the site. Please ask your hosting provider for the error logs. We’ll check the site again later today.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 4, 2018 at 10:05 pm #937377Hello,
I’ve asked the log error from the hosting, but it takes time to get it from them. Have you tried again?
ThanksApril 5, 2018 at 12:05 pm #937647Hi,
I can’t access the site. Is it loading on your end? Please ask your hosting provider to unblock my address.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 5, 2018 at 4:35 pm #937798Hi,
Can you give me your IP address, that I could ask the hosting to unblock?
I have changed the password, so maybe now it will work, please let me know.
The hosting said there was no error for the website. Can you please fix it quickly? Is it an update that you’re working on? Please let me know.April 6, 2018 at 12:16 am #937955Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience. There seems to be an issue with Color Section element however i am not able to reproduce the issue on my localhost.
We have reported the issue to our devs and shared this thread as reference. Please kindly wait to hear from us.Regards,
YigitApril 6, 2018 at 12:47 am #937966Hi Yigit and Ismael and all, Thank you for your message!
Do you have an estimation of how long you will resolve the issue? It’s been 16 days I’m waiting to resolve it, and I can’t advance with the design. Can I get a reimbursed for the theme, and get another one? Or can I use the Elementor builder inside Enfold theme? Please advise me what to do. And please don’t say just wait, since it is since the 21st of march that I wait.I got a message from my host company saying it is definitely a theme problem:
“I reproduced the issue from my end and the issue is strictly related to your theme as you can see the error message that appears now as you can see here https://prnt.sc/j1fj4e,i followed the official website theme as you can see here https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-advanced-layout-editor/, I recommend that you test using another theme just to make sure that the issue is not from your hosting plan and check with your theme provider as mentioned after many verifications.”April 6, 2018 at 1:27 am #937975Hi,
We have already reported the issue and we will check back with our devs in the morning. Until we check with our devs, i am afraid we cannot tell what exactly the issue is and when it will be resolved but i can assure that we will try to fix it as soon as we can.
Would it be possible to create pages without using Color Section element for the time being?
I wanted to check the issue however i got the error i attached in private content field when i tried to access to your server via FTP.
Best regards,
YigitApril 6, 2018 at 3:31 am #937984Hi Yigit,
Thanks for your answer. As you know (since you work for this theme), the color section is essential for design and impossible without, more than that, I would not like to work than discover that the issue is not resolved. What I don’t understand is, why it takes you so long to fix this issue? I’m really frustrated. Please inform me of the developers answer as soon as you can, and don’t continue to mess around: if you think it will take time, just be honest and tell me and I’ll go with another solution.
For your error with the FTP, what you suggest that I’ll do? It worked before right?
ThanksApril 8, 2018 at 1:53 am #938692Hi,
We are very sorry for the late response. We give importance to our time as much as you are so we don’t go about and mess around with any threads. The issue seems to be related to your server so we’re having a hard time finding the actual cause of the problem. Unfortunately, I can’t access the site again after it went down the last time (see screenshot).
Please ask your hosting provider if the “admin-ajax.php” file is being blacklisted by the mod_security rule. That particular file is not accessible or not found after updating a page or post.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 9, 2018 at 4:09 pm #939288Hi,
I asked the hosting to check what you ask, they asked me for your IP address, that they can check if there is a block. Thanks
April 9, 2018 at 8:45 pm #939403Hello,
please see bellow. I don’t understand why it is so complicated and takes so long!April 10, 2018 at 5:54 am #939578Hi,
One user managed to fix the same issue. He asked his hosting provider to whitelist or exclude the “admin-ajax.php” file from the mod_sec rule.
