Hi There,
I have been using Enfold for a long time and I believe there might be an issue with the current color section and using a background image. I have noticed when I have the background image set to Parallax or Scroll and/or any form of repeat other than ‘No Repeat’ the background image fails to show.
I initially thought this was a cache, javascript or CSS modification issue, but I wanted to reach out and see if you had seen this at any point since the latest update.
After some troubleshoot with our host (Kinsta) and WP Rocket, the only way I could get the background to render was to set it as fixed with no repeat. So I have left it as is, but want to be sure it’s not a bigger issue before we begin our upcoming sales period. Is this a known issue or is there any chance I need to modify a theme setting / CSS line / etc.?
Thank you in advance!

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have tested the same settings on my end (set it to Parallax) and I couldn’t reproduce the same issue.
After doing some tests, it seems Combine CSS files in WP Rocket is causing the issue, I have now disabled it and it seems to work properly, please review your site.Best regards,
NikkoNovember 2, 2021 at 2:31 pm #1327466Awesome, thanks Nikko! I always get confused on that stuff and tried to do what the Kinsta/WP Rocket guide said and tried testing, but I’m sure it can take some time for those changes in settings and things to be reactive.
Prior to your help, I considered deleting the page and creating a new one from scratch with the same title/url. If I were to do that in the future, is that something that would cause issues? Thanks!

Thanks for the update. If you should delete and create a new page with the same permalink in the future, then I don’t think you should run into any problems.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 3, 2021 at 3:22 pm #1327642Awesome, thanks for the reply and info. I ended up doing that as the page I had issues with was first made in 2017, so I figured it might have been time to start from scratch anyway.
With the difficulty WP Rocket seems to present oftentimes, I was wondering if there’s a guide for setting up the plugin with Enfold? If not, that’s no problem. I may just deactivate the plugin

Here’s a guide that you might find helpful: https://www.arnoweterings.nl/optimal-wordpress-wp-rocket-settings-with-cloudflare-cdn-and-enfold-theme-which-got-us-100-98-on-gtmetrix-last-update-10-2020/
However, not all servers are the same so you’ll need to check on your site when you enable some settings, so you can identify which settings cause issues on your site and disable them.Best regards,
Nikko -
