    Hello —
I successfully have a self hosted mp4 video woking as a background in a color section. Here is the link
    http://oceanportalproject.org/ocean/
If you click on the link you will see that I get the “get_file_content() Warning. I have read the
    http://www.solo-technology.com/blog/2010/04/07/quick-fix-for-url-file-access-is-disabled-issues/
article and I’m not sure that is the best way too go about it for me. I am hosting this website on Media Temples shared grid service, though I do have grid containers.
I am wondering what your advise is on solving this issue.

    Best

One more thing, I’m using enfold 2.5.4 with WP 3.8.1

    Hey!

Thank you for using the theme. I hope you’re doing great.

The next update will include an option to provide a fallback image for mobile devices. There are lot of issues regarding videos on different devices so Kriesi decided that unless he found a full proof integration of mobile video background, videos won’t be available for mobile devices. This image will be shown on mobile device instead of the video background.

    Cheers!

    Ismael –

That’s great news and I like Kriesi’s thinking that is exactly what I was thinking would be a nice solution.
enfold is my favorite theme and I really like the ability to use full screen movies.
Do you have any thoughts on how to take care of the warning I am getting

Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /nfs/c10/h02/mnt/176353/domains/oceanportalproject.org/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php on line 576

    Best regards,

    George

    Hi!

I’m not sure what is the error but please try to contact your host and ask them for any hint why the error is happening. Might have something to do with the allow_url_fopen php configuration.

    Cheers!
