I’ve had about 10 people look at this, 3 of whom use Macs, and 2 out of the 3 with Macs can’t see the background video at the top of this page in their browsers on Chrome or Safari:

I’m using a this YouTube video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHS10Tpbj7c
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks as always…I’m a huge fan of the theme!

I checked it on a Mac and the video displayed fine. Try asking those 3 people to access the video directly.

They were able to view the video on YouTube but not through the site. Any other ideas?
September 1, 2015 at 6:51 pm #496617Hi!
can you provide us admin access so we can take a deeper look into it? post login details here as private reply.
Make sure to use newest theme and WordPress versions. Try to deactivate all plugins to check if one is causing this issue.Regards,

September 12, 2015 at 10:34 am #502048Well, that discards the problem being caused by the theme. Do they see an error message or something?
September 12, 2015 at 4:53 pm #502138no just a black screen with a spinning circle of dots in the middle
September 15, 2015 at 2:32 pm #503355Hi!
What version of MacOS are they running? Is their copy of Safari updated to the latest version? Try to have them reinstall Safari. Also have them view in Firefox to see if it’s a browser specific issue.

ElliottSeptember 15, 2015 at 3:47 pm #503423So the problem is not their macs, it’s either the video or the theme.
They are running the latest version of of OS, and have tried it on multiple browsers. I appreciate the help thus far, but if you can’t come up with anything better than that for support i wont waste any more of your time.
thanks,
Kevin
September 15, 2015 at 8:17 pm #503661Ask them if they can see / reproduce this video:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/mov_bbb.mp4September 15, 2015 at 8:21 pm #503666again not very helpful. I was able to bring the video into Vimeo, and since it’s pulling from a different source than uploading the MP4 to the site itself, it seems to be working.
thanks,
Kevin
