    Hi there,

I have a background video https://thumbs.gfycat.com/DimpledInstructiveFugu-mobile.mp4 in my color section on my homepage (right underneath the top main banner image) and it no longer works. It worked the other day and no changes to it have been made. I tried using YouTube link instead and that did not work either. I also deactivated all plugins and that also didn’t help. I need to get this video working ASAP. Can you please respond right away? I submitted a different ticket for a different issue 2 days ago and still have not heard back from you guys. Please reply right away.

    Thanks much!

    Hey groovymarci,

Thanks for the login details, though I can only see a background image set to the Color Section?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi there,

I had to add an animated gif image as a background to that color section because the video was not working. I had a video in the first section that’s right underneath the main banner image behind the words “…25 years…” Try putting a video in there and you will see that it does not work. The video was an MP4 that I had in there and I tried other MP4 videos and none of them were working Please try this and let me know immediately as the client is waiting on this. The video worked five days ago and then all of a sudden it won’t render video in that spot anymore.

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

We are getting this error in the console, which seems to be entirely unrelated to the color section issue.

Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #Patient%20Forms

Do you remember adding the text “#Patient%20Forms” anywhere? Try to replace “%20” with a hyphen or underscore.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Are you saying that that %20 text is causing the videos not work as a background throughout the site? We did not add that %20 anywhere, however we are using an iframe for the patient forms which are direct html links inside an iframe. I have no idea where the %20 would be or why it would be there. This is what is causing the background videos to not play?

    Thanks!

    Hi!

Yes, that expression or string is causing an error in the page, which affects the background videos. It’s an anchor link in your menu. Please replace it with a dash or underscore and update the anchors in the page.

    Regards,
    Ismael
