    I’m restoring a site that has been unpublished for a quite a while.
    A 10 sec loop video was very important to the design of a few pages, which was achieved by using a color section of at least 100% page height. The video was hosted on Vimeo but the account has expired.
    I have uploaded the same video to YouTube but can’t get it to work on the website.
    I have tried the URL’s
    I have looked through some posts that mentioned recent problems with self hosted video and someone mentioned problems with YouTube also. I have rolled back to a previous version I had on my hard disk v.4.0.9, but I still can’t get the video to show.

    I have removed every plugin in case a conflict was the cause. The video did not show.

    Thanks for the reply. It looks like both YouTube and Vimeo have changed something. I tried rolling back to various previous versions (of the theme) in which the videos did work and they do not play the video now.
    I hope you find a solution.
    I’ll keep looking in my inbox for news. Is there anywhere else I should watch for news of updates?
