Color Section Background Images and Responsiveness

I have a color section with a custom background image.Instead of using a custom color background along with that image I would like to use a repeating pattern image. I tried to assign a Div and even a class to the color section for the repeating image behind the custom image but no luck. Any suggestions?

If you look at the link I included you will see the background image is surround by black on larger browsers…I would like to place my wood pattern image to show behind my custom image so the wood pattern fills the screen on larger browsers.

*also I noticed that the color section is not responsive with the background image. I have the image set to scroll and aligned top center?
