    Hi support,

I’ve been at this one for a while and can’t figure it out.
I have a color section on the home page. With this I have a background image. Presently its quite large at 2600×1800 and I have applied a dark overlay directly to the image as the overlay in the color section was giving me gaps in its overlay as you scrolled. I have the color section set with Parallax on.

Anyway, the image capture shows the issue I have. When i scroll i get a gap? (see PC).

Am i doing something wrong? is there a setting I should have set to ensure coverage, is the image too small in height etc.? The same issue occurs with a background overlay turned on at 0.5 .. it doesn’t cover the element as well?

    Lost on this one.

    Any assistance appreciated.
    Cheers
    John

    Hi John,

Thanks for the login token and screenshot. I can’t see the problem on my end using Chrome though. In which browser are you seeing this problem?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

    Apologies for the delay.

Yes, using Chrome here and also tried it on Edge with the same issue showing.

The issue occurs for me as soon as you load the page and then scroll down the page you end up with this gap occurring?

    thanks again

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I still can’t reproduce those results though, I checked in Chrome, Firefox and Opera. I can’t check Edge though, since I’m on OSX. What is the size of the screen you are using?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Thanks Rikard.

I test on two screen sizes 27″ (2560×1440) and 24″ (1920×1080). Win10. Both screens show this behaviour.

Lets leave this for now as it appears intermittent and who knows, the client may not notice or have this issue?

I can revisit at a later date.

    Cheers

    Hi John,

Thanks for the update. I’m checking on a 13″ screen, so that might be the reason as to why I can’t see it. If you should want us to investigate this further, then I’ll ask the rest of the team to a have a look as well.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
