Hi guys,
when Im using a sidebar for a page and in that page I use a Color-Section, than the sidebar will be showed under the color-section. But the color-section should the same width as the normal content, so that the sidebar is always on the side.
And another question, why isn’t it possible to have a color-section in another layout element, like 1/2 Element?
Best regards,

Thank you for using Enfold.
The color section will always push the sidebar underneath it so you have to disable the default sidebar on the page, set it to fullwidth then separate the content and sidebar by using the column elements. Use the Widget Area element to display the sidebar. Color sections are full width elements so you can’t place it inside a column element.
Cheers!

thanks for your answer.
I can do as you said, but its a pitty that the color section is always full width. Maybe you add this to a next feature. So that we can decide wheather the color selection should be full-width or half or width of the main content.
I need to have some sections in main content with a colored background and sidebar too.
Best regards

Please feel free to request such feature here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
but technically, i believe that would not be possible but Kriesi may come up with an alternative.Best regards,
YigitFebruary 12, 2017 at 1:36 am #745814I have a question to add to this one…. Suppose the page you want to do this with is a BBPRESS forum? making it fullwidth will only apply to the Root page but once you click on any of the forums the page will change.

You can adjust sidebar options in Enfold theme options > Sidebar Settings for posts and archive pages.

YigitFebruary 13, 2017 at 3:41 pm #746465Okay I would only want to remove the default sidebar from just the bbpress pages while adding the sidebar manually. See the bbpress index page could be changed such as is being said in this thread but when a forum is clicked on it, it will not retain the setup & use the default sidebar settings which throws things off of course.
Just want bbpress forums to basically have a full width title image on top with forums & right sidebar under. (Under the header & menu of course)

February 20, 2017 at 5:02 pm #749466Hi,
best to ask bbpress support about it, as archive pages are not controlled by the theme.
