    Now that I’ve hidden the subnav menu, I would like to collapse/hide the subnav’s display area. Is this possible?

    Hey LiveLightCo!

    You can choose to display one header types that are not using secondary menu in Enfold theme options under Header tab or you can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

    #header_meta { display: none; }
