    Hi-
For some reason, when the website is viewed on a mobile device, we see the code. For example:

    [av_textblock size = "font_color =" "color ="]

For Bloggers (this is the page heading)

    [/av_textblock]

    [av_hr class = ‘short’ height=’50’ shadow=’no shadow’…..(etc.)

I’ve used this same theme on numerous websites and this site is the only one that seems to be having this issue. Any idea why? Thanks!

    Hey Erin,

Please check if you are using JetPack to display different theme on mobile. If that does not help, Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

Thanks! I installed Jetpack and set it up to connect to the account. But it’s not working properly. The viewer is given 3 options: to view mobile version which is the one I created with the WPTouch mobile plugin, view the desktop version which is the original site, and View Mobile version which appears to be related to Jetpack because with that version, I get “Powered by WordPress” at the bottom, and the site is not a WordPress.com website. I don’t want that link there. I just want the site to view properly when accessed from a mobile phone. I regularly use this theme for clients because I love it so much, and this is the first instance where I’m having such a problem with a mobile view. My own website runs on the Enfold theme and it converts to a mobile view perfectly. Do you think there’s a plugin causing the error? That’s the only thing I can think of. I’ve played around a bit and deactivate then reactivated some things. For some reason, on my phone now, the desktop version views fine. But I’m somehow still seeing the link to Switch to Mobile Version (which is connected to the WPTouch Mobile plugin I’ve deactivated) and View Mobile Site (which I think is connected to the Jetpack installation which I’ve now deactivated). I’m really not sure what’s going on :/ I’ll post login credentials in the private section. Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for the details, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (3.8.4) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

I see the Theme Update set up in Enfold attached to my username and API Key isn’t working in this site as well as my own site (I’m running Enfold there as well). Both say the website is running the newest version and no updates are available, but ruthcardello.com is running Enfold 3.4.3 and my site is running 3.8. In the past this great feature always worked. Any idea why it’s no longer working?

I’ll try to update the theme via FTP and see if that helps. Thanks for the link!

    Hi Erin,

Could you try this plugin in order to clear WordPress transients? https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/

If not I think FTP would be your second best option.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
