Hi everyone.
I’m having trouble switching between editor types.
1) I create a post, insert three text blocks, and save as a draft.
2) I click “Advanced Layout Editor” and everything seems fine.
3) I click “Default Editor” and the three text blocks become a single shortcode.
4) I add two more text blocks and save.
5) I click “Advanced Layout Editor,” and then click “Default Editor.” The added text blocks have disappeared.
What am I doing wrong? Why is this happening?

The layout builder and the default WordPress editor is not really compatible, I would recommend that you decide which editor that you want to use before you start creating content. The default editor is always available for you in the layout builder though, using a Text Block element for example.

We can end the thread, thanks.It’s a shame not to use the Advanced Layout Builder (ALB) with an Enfold installation. The ALB is what makes Enfold attractive. I always use the ALB with the Classic Editor (Theme Options > Select Your Editor). However, I know some users here who use the block editor and still use Enfold’s layout elements. Giving up the ALB means giving up all its advantages.
