April 8, 2020 at 6:26 am #1201776Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We get a totally different error when we try to access the site. Did you disable the theme?
Please try go to the wp-content > themes folder and delete the enfold directory completely, then replace it with the latest version, v4.7.4.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 8, 2020 at 7:44 am #1201805We did that already.
April 10, 2020 at 8:29 pm #1202732Hi vegaspro,

VictoriaApril 10, 2020 at 8:40 pm #12027407.2 and it has not changed, it was working before even on 7.2. I can give you FTP but be very careful
http://ftp.goodbyegraffiti.comApril 14, 2020 at 4:52 am #1203437Hi,
We have to access the WordPress dashboard as well. Please include the login details in the private field.
The following error looks like an issue with the WP core or a plugin.
Warning: Illegal string offset 'remember' in /home/goodbyegraffiti/public_html/french/wp-includes/user.php on line 41 Warning: Cannot assign an empty string to a string offset in /home/goodbyegraffiti/public_html/french/wp-includes/user.php on line 41 Warning: Illegal string offset 'user_login' in /home/goodbyegraffiti/public_html/french/wp-includes/user.php on line 56 Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot create references to/from string offsets in /home/goodbyegraffiti/public_html/french/wp-includes/user.php:56 Stack trace: #0 /home/goodbyegraffiti/public_html/french/wp-login.php(806): wp_signon('', '') #1 {main} thrown in /home/goodbyegraffiti/public_html/french/wp-includes/user.php on line 56
Please get a fresh copy of the latest version of the WordPress files, then use it to override the whole installation.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 14, 2020 at 5:41 am #1203446I have moved the site here (check private data) so that we do not touch the live site.
1. moved site over
2. uploaded new wordpress version, overwrite files
3. You can see there are enfold errors and not wordpress related errors
4. Wp-admin will not loadApril 15, 2020 at 1:39 pm #1203969Hi,
Thank you for creating a staging site. You have to update the FTP account too because it still points to the actual site when we tested it. We need to have access to the files of the new site in order to debug the issue.
Did you try to rename the plugins folder inside the wp-content directory? This will disable the plugins temporarily and might help get rid of the issue temporarily.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 15, 2020 at 4:21 pm #1204024We already deleted all plugins when we first started the troubleshooting steps. We didnt delete the plugins folder, just the plugins themselves. See below.
April 20, 2020 at 9:11 am #1205423Hi,
Can we have access to the dashboard? We will disable the theme temporarily to get rid of the error and check the dashboard. Please post the details of the WordPress account in the private field.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 20, 2020 at 4:48 pm #1205517Sure, see below
April 22, 2020 at 10:40 am #1206119Hi,
We didn’t have access to the dashboard before, so we noticed just now that the site contains a very old version of the theme, v3.0.4. This version is no longer compatible with the latest version of WordPress and most of the plugins, so you have to download the latest version from your themeforest account > downloads panel and update the theme manually via FTP.
Please check the documentation below for more info regarding the manual update.

IsmaelApril 22, 2020 at 11:36 pm #1206396Okay that worked. SO how do I get this on the live site now? Just copy files and database?
April 26, 2020 at 11:52 am #1207222Hi vegaspro,
On the live site, you can remove the Enfold folder and upload a fresh one over FTP.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
