I have upgraded to Enfold V3.0.2 and I now have icons appearing in Chinese. I have already put into my .htaccess file the coding:-
<FilesMatch “\.(ttf|otf|woff)$”>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin: http://harefieldchurch.org
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>
But has not improved the situation. I have reloaded the Enfold 3.0.2 files a couple of times by FTP but not solved it.
Any ideas?October 20, 2014 at 8:56 pm #338635I have also turned off my plugins which has not helped.
October 20, 2014 at 11:05 pm #338726I have cleared the cache and this seems to be only a problem with IE. Seems OK on Google Chrome, Android tablet and Apple
October 21, 2014 at 8:24 am #338870Hey!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Please try to replace the htaccess code with this:
<FilesMatch "\.(ttf|otf|woff)$"> <IfModule mod_headers.c> Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" </IfModule> </FilesMatch>
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 21, 2014 at 8:55 am #338892I have updated the file, had already tried this – didn’t make any difference. Have cleared out cached. Have tried this website on other PC and still have problem..

Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately?

There are two enfold themes. Please remove the other enfold folder. Deactivate the plugins then test it on another browser.

IsmaelOctober 23, 2014 at 9:02 am #339956I have deleted my old copy of Enfold. I have deactivated every plugin.
I then tried the website in Microsoft IE and Google Chrome and the same problem exists in that icons are appearing as either a ‘Chinese-looking’ character or nothing at all.October 23, 2014 at 9:25 am #339968I should also point out that social media icons are also not showing. I have had to remove them from the header as it was just showing a blank space where they should have been.
October 24, 2014 at 6:06 am #340459Hey!
Still not sure why the icons are not working. Is it OK if we deactivate the plugins while working on the site? Please post the FTP details here. We would like to check the files.
Cheers!

This has sorted the problem. I can see all the icons!
