    Support,

I’ve used your child theme folder and am having some trouble. I was able to install it and and make changes to the css no problem – those css changes work great!

However, when I go to make changes within folders, nothing happens! Example:

    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/fullwidth-sub-menu-text-mobile/

I copied the folders – configtemplate-builder > avia-shortcodes > menu.php – to the child-theme and deleted all folders / files EXCEPT for the path to menu.php and obviously, the file menu.php. Therefore, the structure is the same.

I left the menu.php file as is except for the change stated in the URL above (Changing the “Menu” title to “Select Category”). I left the other code in the menu.php file as well. Wasn’t sure if that made a difference.

When I cleared my cache, multiple times, and refreshed the page, nothing happened. I’ve trie privacy browsers as well. However, when I made the change in the parent theme, it worked immediately!

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

    Hi tylerjmorrison!

That’s not a template file so you cannot place it in the child theme. What is the exact customization your trying to do? We’ll check and see if there is another way.

Ok, thanks! I just did some research based on your answer and now that makes sense. I’ve just been making lots of changes – I won’t take up any of your time with this issue. Thanks for your help!
