We have a site hosted by wp engine at http://www.britishartpoortfolio.co.uk which is now at 4.1.1. I have just gone to make a modification to the child theme and this does not appear to update the css. The css seems to be referencing “https://zz1on2o610q2rakqovdft7eu-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/avia-merged-styles-d4bfaf5dd54be38c930899a50b90cedd.css” and I am not sure why? Can you please help.
Hey condonpb,
Where exactly are you placing the CSS and what exactly is not working? Please try to be as specific as possible as to what is not working.
Best regards,
Rikard
Rikard,
The issue is that I have a child ccs file that has been working fine on this site, in the web browser inspector I would see object_child.css. I have gone to modify the child css in my child theme but since I have upgraded to 4.1.1 this child css file does not appear to be showing when I come to inspect this in a web browser. I see https://zz1on2o610q2rakqovdft7eu-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/avia-merged-styles-d4bfaf5dd54be38c930899a50b90cedd.css
Best regards
Pete
Hi,
Thanks for the update.
There’s a new css and js compression option on version 4.4.1. You can disable that option in the Enfold > Performance panel. What you’re seeing now is the merged scripts and stylesheets.
