    I’m unable to get Devon’s Child theme to install. The following message appears at the bottom of the dashboard:

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    Enfold Child The parent theme is missing. Please install the “enfold” parent theme. Delete

    From the child theme install video I get I’m supposed to install the child theme before importing the demo data. Correct? I always use child themes for my sites.

    Hey ajaxkls!

    Did you download the child theme from here? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/. As far as I know that should work, please get back to us if you should have any further problems.

    Rikard, I just did that: fresh download, extract, delete the previous child-theme from site, upload he fresh … same message. Could you please login and see for yourself. I am building a site for a client on short notice and need to get this working. I appreciate what you do. Thanks

    I was able to fix the problem. The child-theme template name refers to the folder. Somehow when I uploaded the parent theme via FTP it uploaded as enfold/enfold. I moved the theme to simply the enfold folder and all is well.
