    Hallo,

    leider ist meine Lizenz Okt. 2022 abgelaufen – ich hoffe ich bekomme trotzdem kurz Hilfe. Das Enfold Theme wurde gekauft und lange Zeit nicht benutzt – daher die abgelaufene Lizenz :-(

    Nun ist es so, das ein Child Theme erstellt wurde – dieses auch aktiviert werden kann – jedoch Code das im Child Theme geschrieben wird, nicht übernommen wird im Frontend. Ich hab
    Alles läuft lokal also über mamp – bevor dann irgendwann umgezogen wird.
    Ich hab schon so viele Sachen getestet – aber nichts funktioniert.
    Am Child kann es auch eigentl. nicht liegen da ich das Child auch auf anderen Themes habe und die funktionieren.

    Woran kann das liegen?
    Ich freu mich auf ein Feedback

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I activated the option to delete old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance, and your CSS is applying after that. Please review your site.

    Hi Rikard,

    leider besteht das Problem immer noch. Ich konnte in der style.css einen Codeblock dazufügen – er wurde auch angezeigt :-) Jedoch jegliche weitere Änderung hat nicht geklappt und wurde nicht übernommen. Ich habe auch den Cache zwischendurch geleert – kein Erfolg :-(

    unfortunately the problem still exists. I was able to add a code block to the style.css – it was also displayed :-) However, any further changes did not work and were not accepted. I also cleared the cache in between – no success :-(

    Nach weiteren Codeschnipsel hat er einige übernommen – einige auch nicht. Es läuft noch nicht flüssig. So als ob das Theme oder der Browser ein Eigenleben hat – je nach Lust und Laune.
    Zumindest reagiert die style jetzt ;-)

    After further code snippets he accepted some – some not. It’s not running smoothly yet. As if the theme or the browser has a life of its own – depending on your mood.
    At least the style reacts now ;-)

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. If you need further help, then please give actual examples of what code is not working. Note that there’s nothing in the theme which would only allow some code.

    ich hätte noch eine Frage zum Theme….

    Das Child-theme funktioniert nun dank eurer Hilfe wunderbar.

    Wenn ich die Freelancer Demo importiere, braucht er um einiges länger bis die Seite geladen ist wie so manch andere Demos. Das Freelancer Demo braucht immer ein paar Sekundund länger. Woran liegt das denn?

    I have one more question about the theme…

    Thanks to your help, the child theme is now working perfectly.

    When I import the Freelancer demo, it takes a lot longer to load than some other demos. The Freelancer demo always takes a few seconds longer. Why is that?

    Ja die Front-End-Ladezeiten war gemeint. Ich hab via pagespeed zwei demos verglichen. Ich habe nur zwei screenshots gemacht. Wäre es möglich diese hier zu posten?

    Hi,

    Yes, you can post screenshots to Google Drive, Dropbox, Imgur, Snipboard or a similar service, then link to them here. It would be better if you post links to actual tests though. Note that loading times can be different depending on what content is on the page which is being tested, that is the likely reason for the difference in load times.

    vielen Dank für deine unterstützung. Ich werde jetzt erstmal das Template füllen und sehen wie die Ladezeit sich entwickelt. Meine Vermutung ist, dass Template mit zu großen Bildern ausgestattet und noch nicht optimiert ist. Falls ich das Problem dann noch weiterhin haben sollte, werde ich mich nochmal bei dir melden. Es wird aber jetzt erstmal dauern bis ich die Seite gebaut habe.

    Thank you for your support. I will now first fill the template and see how the loading time develops. My guess is that the template has images that are too large and is not yet optimized. If I still have the problem then I will contact you again. But it will take some time until I build the site.

    Mir ist noch eine Frage gekommen – und ich hoffe sehr das mir nochmal geholfen wird :-)
    Ich habe durch ein Widget ein Inhaltsverzeichnis erstellt – das enfold child table of contents habe ich dafür verwendet. Dies funktioniert auch super dynamisch auf den Seiten. Nur ist es so das der Titel eine h3 ist, und aus SEO Sicht ist das nicht optimal. Ich würde gerne aus der h3 ein p tag machen. Ich habe aber keine Ahnung wie.

    I have another question – and I really hope that you will help me again :-)
    I created a table of contents using a widget – I used the enfold child table of contents for that. This also works super dynamically on the pages. It’s just that the title is an h3, and that’s not optimal from an SEO point of view. I would like to make a p tag out of the h3. But I have no idea how.
