Hi, sorry I’m not an expert.
I’v already installed Enfold CHILD theme along with Enfold theme but now my questions is: from wordpres to start build my website should I activate and use the enfold theme or the child theme??
I think I have to use the child theme only in filezilla (or ftp) to add codes right? And activate and use “REAL” Enfold in wordpress to make all the things I can do with it without manual CSS. Is it right?
    Many thanks

    Hey Mattia992,
You should use the child theme at all times now.
Now that you are using the child theme, make sure it is activated always and build your new site. :)

    Best regards,
    Mike

So the enfold theme should rest always disabled and in the default settings? I only use the child theme. But in this way when I update the enfold the child also updates? And there Will not be any speed issue? Many thanks

    Hi,
The child theme works with the parent theme to make what you see, the child theme is active because it is first and contains any custom changes you use to create your site. It will get everything else it needs from the parent theme, which is second and has all of the core files that gets updated. The child theme doesn’t update, which is good, so you won’t lose your custom changes.
There won’t be any speed issues because this is how WordPress is made to work :)

    Best regards,
    Mike
