Hi,
I’am using a child theme which works fine. But m adding custom css in ENFOLD-CHILD/style.css but it doesn’t overwrite the current one. Instead if i use QUICK CSS from Enfold admin panel it does…?
Am i missing something here? Could you have a look for me?

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)Does a child theme work for you when using a default WP theme?

your child theme is working fine for me. I tried this code:
strong.logo { display: none; }inside your child’s style.css and it’s working fine.

Sorry to bother you but it doesn’t!
It’s really weird i have code inside, don’t you see it? and it doesn’t change anything. it changes only if you move content to quick css! but i have more custom css to do later. it’s bothering me.Could you please check again?

look i tried everything i could do… but no results.
i uninstalled child theme, removed from uploads in DYNAMIC AVIA also to regenerate the enfold-child.. no results.
i reinstall the child theme.. same no results.
i tried to add the code as you did, but it doesn’t work since you add it in …/enfold-child/style.css
strong.logo { display: none; }IT ONLY WORKS WITH THE QUICK CSS PANEL… why?
Could you please have another look, i spend hours on it and i have no clue of what to do..

Well i’am not too sure what you saying.. thing is m running other website on cloud server and this never happened before.
I have another website running enfold and it’s working perfectly, i provide you access below.
I dont understand what you did? i dont see any modifications, and if i remove my custom css from the QUICK CSS it doesn’t apply the one which is in the style.css!
What shall i do?

Hi,
if you’re using a cloudflare function or any other caching function, then this is expected behavior. You won’t see any changes. Remove any cloudlfare and caching and you should go fine.

No i’am not running any of these. If you read my comments above #729332 you notice that m running enfold on another domain as well, same setting and same server.. i really dont understand.
Could you please put the links as private content for comments #729323? i dont want domain to be cached.

There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

Thanks for your answer, but this is the way i installed it earlier. To be sure i did it again and i removed dynamic avia from upload section too before reinstalling the whole content..
well, it doesn’t work.. it’s really confusing me.i’ll try later to start from scratch, installing new database etc.. to see if it change something.. m loosing to much time on this…pfff..

I tried again to put this code into your child theme:
strong.logo { display: none; }as you can see here: http://imgur.com/a/ergfr and then the logo disappears as expected: http://imgur.com/a/upaFg
I removed the code again, so your logo gets visible.
So everything seems fine to me. Please simply clear your browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

I know that. but this website you just modify is working fine and it is in production. this is what m trying to tell you from the early beginning and thats why i attached the link to the online version!
But my concern is the for the new version which is in development… and that one is not working!
so why is it working on the production version and not on the development version?

again: it’s working fine on the site you’ve provided, as shown on my screenshots. So please don’t refer to a site where it’s working, although you are talking about another site. If you’re working on localhost, then move your site online, so we can check it. Otherwise we can’t do anything.

I had a similar problem a week ago,it was chrome that ‘cached’ crazy, have you tried a different browser or incognito browser right corner.
For me, it helped to delete all temporary files + reinstall chrome.Hope the same solution works for you.

That was it! bloody caching. i dont understand i did it before few days ago just before in reinstall the whole theme and remove files from dynamic avia.. but it was’n t changing. So i didn’t clear the cache again properly afterwards since quick css was writing and child functions as well.
Anyway it’s fixed now!!
