Hi there,
There is an update for Enfold theme today. I am using a child theme of Enfold and note about update appear on the child theme settings page. I already updated Enfold Theme. Do I need to update child theme as well?
Thanks,
Orhan

Nope! The child theme is yours forever and only needs to be updated if one of the files you are replacing in the parent gets updated.
Best regards,
DevinJuly 10, 2014 at 9:23 am #289369So, I can remove the Envato username and purchase code from Child Theme settings, right?
July 10, 2014 at 2:16 pm #289497No, those would still need to be there to check for updates and to receive them through the admin.
July 10, 2014 at 3:12 pm #289533It will be there with main theme. I was asking for child theme… If I enter these informations there is an update needed message appears always!
July 10, 2014 at 4:55 pm #289595If the parent theme isn’t active then it isn’t actively detecting the content saved in the parent theme options. You need to have the data entered in the active theme you are using.
Once you are on the currently most recent version then it will no longer show an update option.
