Hello
I have a site that has a parent category in posts called ‘All Successes’, which has 8 child categories. I’ve looked at lots of other forum posts about fixing this to indent the sidebar widget sub categories, and tried a few things, but I can’t get the sub categories to work. Other than the 8 sub categories, there are 2 that are not children of the ‘All Successes’ parent, so it’s important that they don’t display as a child category. They are ‘Client Reviews’ and ‘Legal News’. Ideally, I’d like to have them either above the ‘All Succeses’ or below – perhaps I can use a re-ordering plugin? Thank you in advance :)
Hello, again
I installed the Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order plugin and re-ordered everything but it’s also not working. I am unable to remove the now empty ‘In the News’ category. I’m wondering if it’s because this is a move from an older Drupal DB that goes back to 2003? Thanks again :)
Hi,
You want the sub categories under “All Successes” Indented?
Best regards,
Jordan Shannon
Yes, for those that are actual sub categories to ‘All Successes’ – there are 2 others that are not sub categories – Legal News and Client Reviews :)
Hi,
Thanks for the update.
The default category widget doesn’t support that feature. Please try to use one of the following plugins.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-categories-widget/
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-categories-widget/

Ismael
Ok, thank you :)
