Hi, we have moved our site to a new server and done some updates. Everything is working great, except for two things:
- The submit button during the checkout process in the last step ist disabled for some reason.
- The information just messages above the checkout button appear multiple times.
To Reproduce on our site, pls put a multiple of 6 items (any item) into the your cart and go through the checkout – you will notice, that you can’t proceed to the payment step beacuse the button is disabled.
Is this a known issue?
Can you help me debug this?

I have checked it on your site and can confirm it as well.
Please create a staging site where we can try to check on the issue without affecting your live site.
Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,

Those are the official solutions to the issues.
Can you try to check if there are any caching plugins enabled or maybe a built-in internal caching provided by the webhost that may prevent fetching of newer files?Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 15, 2020 at 12:30 pm #1246016Hi Nikko,
no, not what i know, only Autooptimize Caching is on, nothing else. and the site is hosted by myself, so no caching there as well.
Is it possible, that there is an old caching plugin still operational in some kind, even when i deleted the plugin? Because i migrited the site recently from another hoster

September 15, 2020 at 1:40 pm #1246041what would happen if i change the folder permission to “read only”?
September 15, 2020 at 4:13 pm #1246082Hi mreinisch71,
Setting it to read-only would make your backend unusable and most likely get 403 forbidden errors.
Can you try to switch from a default WordPress Theme like Twenty-Twenty? then check and then switch back to Enfold or your Enfold Child theme.
I have some experience where even flushing out cache and disabling caching plugins didn’t work, but switching themes seems to trigger the fetching of newer files.
I hope it would work on your end.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 21, 2020 at 9:27 am #1247289Hi Nikko,
I tried to switch the theme now, no effect…
All possible caching off, no effect…..
choosing all combinations of “…add no time stamp” or “Fix WP bug,…..” no effect…..it is still adding timestamps and writing in the folder……
I tried to minimize CSS and JS via the Theme Options, via Autoptimize or vie WP Optimize
and all of the 4 “… Timestamp” Combinations, no effect……Manfred

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have deleted those extra js and css files in dynamic_avia folder and then have chosen this setting Fix WP bug, disable unique timestamps and it seems to work fine now.
Please check.Best regards,
NikkoOctober 1, 2020 at 9:11 am #1249822Hi Nikko,
it looks good, the new files are overwritung the old ones.
Thx a lot.
What i dont understand is, that i tried this settings before……
Anyway thx a lot!!!October 1, 2020 at 10:27 am #1249838Hi mreinisch71,
You’re welcome, we’re glad that we could help :)
I believe it’s due to caching and it took some time to take effect.
Thanks for using Enfold as well and have a great day!Best regards,
Nikko -
