    Hi,
    Our shop checkout used to work just fine, and we got orders. Now, though, when you click checkout, it just goes to a blank white page. We have tried deactivating plugins, and that doesn’t work. Can you please advise and let us know how to fix it?

    Hi Justine,

    You’re welcome :)
    I would suggest flushing out the cache next time when something like this happens.
    This is not a usual case so I think there’s a low chance of this happening again.
    Also, you can just open a thread here if you need help :)

    I have excluded the cart and checkout page from being cached in hummingbird pro.

    Hi, Nikko,
    Hmm. That is odd. Thank you for excluding those from being cached. I am now seeing this text in a gray bar at the top of the website, though, that wasn’t there before. Can you please advise?

    Hi Justine,

    Thanks for giving the error, I could not see text in gray bar on my end (even when trying to inspect it), I checked on the error which seems similar to: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/preg_match-compilation-failed-quantifier-does-not-follow-a-repeatable-item/
    I have replaced this code in the Exclusions:

    */cart/*
    */checkout/*

    to:

    /cart/
    /checkout/

    Thank you so much for all your help. Unfortunately, when I add something to the cart and hit checkout, I am getting a blank page again. Any more ideas on how to fix this? I really appreciate all your help as I have exhausted everything else.

    Hi Justine,

    Can you try to flush out the cache and then disable Hummingbird Pro? then check if this still occurs.

    Well, that looks like it fixes it for now. So does this mean I can’t use Hummingbird? Our site is so slow I am afraid not using it will make it worse.

    Hi Justine,

    I believe it’s just some setting that causes conflict but it may take time to find out which setting it is.
    Try to explore another caching plugin that would work properly on your site.
