Dear all,
I do not want the German word “Veranstaltung/Veranstaltungen” for English “Event/Events”. Even though I am using .po and mo. files for translating Enfold theme and Events Calendar plugin, I am still unable to change some words in Events list and calendar view, such as “Previous Events”, “Next Events”, “Find Events”, “Events from”, “Past Events” and “Upcoming Events”.
So how could I change to another word? All your help is really appreciated.
Have a great day!
Best regards

Please do not look at the translation files of Enfold, but the translation files of the plugin.
That will help youBest regards,
BasilisSeptember 26, 2017 at 10:11 pm #857159Hello Basilis,
thank you for your fast response. That’s what I already did as well: looking at the .mo/.po files of the Events plugin, but I could not find the words that I need to change in there, either the English nor the German words.
Do you have an idea? Can you help? Thanks so much in advance.
Kind regards,
SophieSeptember 28, 2017 at 4:51 am #857813Hi,
I think @basilis thought that you’re using a translation plugin such as the Loco Translate. Have you tried that plugin? Look at the “plugins” section. If that is not working, you can edit the .po file manually with the PoEdit software then compile or sync it with the .mo file.

IsmaelSeptember 28, 2017 at 8:07 pm #858200Hi Ismael,
thank you for your fast reply. I am already working with Poedit. I have not tried Loco plugin, because I thought it would sufficient using Poedit. So, I just checked again and I think I found the problem, but not a solution: The problem is “%s“. For example, for translating “Previous Events” it shows “Previous %s” > in German “Vorherige %s”. So how to change when there is no possibility for entering?
Thanks so much for your help in advance.

SophieSeptember 29, 2017 at 11:07 am #858417Hi,
Did you look for the “Events/Event” string? If you can’t find the string, try to use the following plugin.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/
If you’re using the loco translate plugin, you’ll be able to filter the “event” or “events” string.
Best regards,
