It appears that changing the Enfold option of footer column count is affecting other elements on pages to not load at all, or to be resized incorrectly. Behavior is inconsistent.
See URLs below for the production (unedited) and staging (edited) site comparison. This behavior was observed across both version of the Enfold theme installed on the sites. I have attempted clearing caches with no change in behavior.
Hey jmkreege,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The issue might be due this error generated by the siteground-optimizer plugin.
siteground-optimizer…367fda7c0dcaf.js:72 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected string
Please check the css modifications and make sure that there are no invalid css rules. To fix the issue temporarily, consider disabling the compression or cache plugin.
Best regards,
Ismael
I’m seeing the uncaught exception below even with SG Optimizer disabled on the subdomain:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected string avia-footer-scripts-…-659ff2ec799fc.js:7
I also note that disabling display of the socket and footer widgets completely does resolve the issue.
Some sequence of enabling the footer with widgets, and deleting all widgets from the footer in Appearance -> Widgets seems to have resolved the issue.
I am now able to display the footer without error.
Hi,
Glad to hear that you have this sorted out, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.
Best regards,
