    Hi Team,

I know there are websites like “WhatWordpressThemeIsThat” to discover details about a theme. I don’t want people know what theme I’m using or, better, I’d like choosing what they can see.

How can I hide/change Enfold details to these websites? I see many other themes have their info changed!

Do I have to delete info inside the parental theme style.css? I’m working on Enfold child theme.

    Thank you,
    Maria

    Hi mariasol3!

You can rename the theme info, from the header of style.css
but you will also need to change the folder name.
Even with that, please keep in mind, that someone with expirience, can locate the theme name.

    Thank u

    Regards,

    Thank you Basilis!

Do you refer to parent theme or child theme?

I read that it is not suggested to change parent style.css.

What happens to child theme if I change those info?

    Hi,

I would suggest that you do it in your child theme since you will likely have problems updating the theme if you change the name of the parent.

    Hi Rikard,

just one last question. If I put new info inside the child theme style.css and I change the name of the folder, what kind of info will appear in websites like WhatWordpressThemeIsThat? Mine or still yours?

    Hi,

Your child theme will display the info that you put in to it’s style.css, if you put Maria’s theme in the name, then that’s is what will display under Appearance->Themes for instance.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
