    Hi, I am trying to change the permalinks used for my portfolio items, so that they display as category/postname, rather than as portfolio-item/postname

    This would give me more meaningful and SEO friendly urls.

    I tried changing to a Custom Structure in Settings / Permalinks as follows:

    /%category%/%postname%/

    But my urls still show as portfolio-item/postname
