Hi
From testing my site out, I’m happy with how it looks on every device apart from the iPad in portrait. Which is probably almost the most important!
Is it possible to make it look like this: (how it supposedly does on the Nexus 7)
Instead of like this (how it looks currently on the ipad):
Thanks,

I don’t see any difference except for bigger white space on iPad view. You need to modify the Media Queries on css > layout.css if you want to change the layout on iPad. Please hire a freelance developer to modify the theme for you.

Thanks for your reply.
Hmm, that’s strange. When I look the ipad version has items down the side whereas the Nexus 7 layout just has just has the main content.
Is it possible to hire any of you guys as freelancers to make any edits to the layout.css?

YigitOctober 9, 2013 at 3:37 pm #173073Hello!
You can do something quick and direct like:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .flex_column.av_one_fifth, .flex_column.av_one_fifth, .flex_column.av_one_fourth, .flex_column.av_one_third, .flex_column.av_two_fifth, .flex_column.av_one_half, .flex_column.av_three_fifth, .flex_column.av_two_third, .flex_column.av_three_fourth, .flex_column.av_four_fifth, .flex_column.av_one_sixth, .flex_column.av_one_seventh, .flex_column.av_one_eighth, .flex_column.av_one_nineth, .flex_column.av_one_tenth{ width: 100%; margin-left: 0px; } }
If there are any further tweaks or you want it to only effect some areas but not others, fix cross browser issues etc then a freelance developer is your best route. I’d recommend Codeable.io if you want to get a more custom change.

Devin, you’re a genius! That is almost exactly how I need it to work! The only other thing, is it possible to hide the sidebar on all pages on the ipad?

RobOctober 10, 2013 at 4:56 am #173395Hi!
Please try this:
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 989px) { .responsive #top #main .sidebar {display:none; } }

It just isn’t as simple as the above since its actually modifying the grid that build the structure of the site and not just the internal contents of the pages (which is a bit easier to set to full width like I did above).
