Tagged: menu color
In the Enfold theme, I want to change the background of the menu bar – including the background for the individual menu items – from the default #2C353D to #006A4C.
Though I may be wrong, I presume this must be done in the style sheet – but where?
Also, I want to remove the search icon to the right in the menu bar, where and how do I do this?
I have uploaded an image to show what I mean.
Hey janjen1988,
Have you checked our Threme Options Panel? You can do all of those changes from there.
Best regards,
Basilis
Hi Basilis,
That may be the case, but I can not find it!
When I go in to “Enfield Child” (I work in a child theme) -> “Main Menu”, I see no possibility of changing the colour of the background.
In “Enfield Child” -> “General Styling”, I have tried to change “Logo Area Heading colour”, but to no effect, and other than that, I can not see anything specific about the menu area!
And the “Enfield Child” -> “Header” -> “Header Layout” does not give any options for changing colour.
These are the areas where I would normally look for changing the background colour of the menu area and the menu, as well as removing the search option (which I probably will want to replace with social media icons)!
So please advice, where do I make the changes that I wish to make (and which is shown in the image which I have uploaded)?
Hi,
1- Please go to Enfold theme options > Main Menu and disable “Append search icon to main menu”
2- Please go to Enfold theme options > Advanced Styling and edit “Main Menu Links” and change background color
That should do it :)
Cheers!
