Changing a Blog Author or Owner

I am porting over a bunch of old blogs from our original website, and my name shows as the author since I was the one who entered them. First we attempted to fix this by hiding the Author details. However, if you search for author details, my information still comes up.

Is there any way to assign the correct author to each blog without creating a separate user with “author” permissions and then copying the blog entry while logged in under the correct user?
