I use Enfold for a large number of websites that I have designed and maintain. Over the last few months, I have noticed that I am not able to see updates to the theme options unless I do a hard reset on the website. I have to take the time to clear my browser, terminal cache, and hosting server cache in order to see each and every update I make. I did not have these issues prior to a few months ago. Please take a look at one of my sites to see if you can locate the issue.

You’re not running a cache plugin and you are not using the performance features of the theme, so I’m not sure what could be causing that to be honest. Did you try using and incognito window in Chrome to see if that works better?

Yes, I’ve tried that as well. The updates are not visible until I do an entire empty of the cache across Cloudflare, WPEngine, and my terminal on my Mac. This isn’t a computer or network issue, as I’ve tried on outside networks as well.I cannot be the only one with this issue, as it’s with EVERY Enfold theme website I have, and that includes two separate hosting providers.
Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback and info. I don’t think it’s a theme issue though, but we’ll try to help you out anyway of course. You said that it works after you flush the cache from CloudFlare and with the hosting service. How exactly does CloudFlare apply caching? I think that is the likely source of the problem.

August 5, 2018 at 2:32 pm #993681Hi,
Did you try to activate the wpengine cache in the wp-config.php file and to purge the cache manually: https://wpengine.com/support/cache/ (hosted on WPengine)
Best regards,
