Hello! After editing the page “Home” and saving all the changes made, the preview won’t show the updates: instead a blank page or just some of the content it’s shown. When I return to the page editor some of the elements disappear and I have to keep going back to old revisions and redo the changes. Also this behaviour is quite random, it works correctly for a few minutes/hours and then again the preview/saving problems return. Any idea what is going on? Thank you!
(WordPress 4.7.2 and Enfold were downloaded and installed yesterday)
February 17, 2017 at 7:38 am #748247Hey scienseed,
Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please point out on what page you are having this problem and how we can reproduce it.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 17, 2017 at 11:28 am #748338The page preview does not show all the elements included in the page editor. Also afert saving and closing a page editor and returning to it later, the latest changes are not saved and I have to go back to an older revision and re-do them. This problem keeps going on randomly. The problem started in the page /home but now its happening in all six pages. Thank you
February 18, 2017 at 1:35 am #748730This is happening with us too. I have submitted a ticket and I am not getting assistance.
Can Enfold PLEASE view how many of us are experiencing this issue. It is FRUSTRATING and I have lost one client already … I am almost about to lose another because they cannot work on ENFOLD.
This is a huge issue. Please help!
1. Upon SAVE NOTHING SAVES. (home page) REMOVING IMAGE FROM ICON BOX DOES NOT WORK.
2. The TEMPLATE button has vanished – is no longer there
3. TEMPLATE BUTTON has been restored. We did this:
1. Turning off plugins
2. Reinstalling Enfold
3. Increased Max Memory Limit, etc.
4. Flushed caches both site and multiple browsersFebruary 20, 2017 at 2:40 pm #749374Hi again,
We keep having the same problem! Like Wilwood says, this issue has caused us enormous trouble, losing countless hours of work and risking not meeting several deadlines with clients. Please, we need URGENT help or we will be forced to change template and provider promptly.
February 20, 2017 at 4:25 pm #749446Kriesi,
I have purchased 44 of the Enfold template in just 1.5 years.
I cannot in good faith purchase or recommend your theme any longer unless provided assistance. My client and I have tried to get assistance for TWO WEEKS now, and have received no valuable help.
Please move this to a top tier level of support.
We cannot save anything.
We have done all due diligence and troubleshooting:
1. Turned off plugins.
2. We replaced full theme.
3. We replaced core WP
4. Upped memory limits. Please have an advanced tech look at our site.
Thank you.
February 22, 2017 at 10:16 am #750365Hi,
@scienseed: Tried to check your wp-admin page but it returns:Acceso restringido
Also, can you let us know what is the username? we would also need ftp access.
@Wildwood: just tested your site and it the doesn’t save/update the changes being done to the page. Would you allow us to deactivate plugins on the site? and also provide ftp access, so we can check the files and error logs.Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 23, 2017 at 7:04 pm #751014Unfortunately we had to switch to Avada in order to meet our client’s deadline given the absence of support.
However, the problem with Enfold persists in other websites that we have already online where the preview of the sites does not correspond to the design created in the page editor (see details below).
If you manage to solve the problem and prove the reliability of Enfold we might consider using the already purchased license for another project.Otherwise, we will have to apply for a refund given the circumstances.February 24, 2017 at 4:29 am #751205Same Problem here.
Brand new website WordPress 4.7.2
Fresh install of Enfolds 3.8.51. On updating a page, I would say 1 – 5 times the changes will save. 404 Page not found Errors – Iv’e got into a habit of copying the debug window content before saving – this is bloody annoying.
2. Avia Layout Builder won’t display – spinning loading icon from hell. Activating default editor and re-activating Avia Layout builder back on, sometimes fixes the issue.
3. HTTP errors when upload images through Avia Layout Builder elements – have to upload via WP Media Gallery – refresh the page so that Avia Layout builder picks up new images – then I can add Images to the page
4. Avia Layout Builder Media Gallery – wont show images have to reload the page or takes over 2-3 min to display the gallery – spinning loading icon from hell.
5. Edit page – instant 404 page not found errors – have to reload the same url 3 times to get it to get admin edit page to load
February 24, 2017 at 9:03 pm #751589Hey, we worked it out by reinstalling all the WordPress Code files!
Good luck!
February 28, 2017 at 9:51 pm #753259Hi scienseed,
Thanks, I have checked the admin access, however it doesn’t work, the ftp access is good, though I couldn’t see any potential problem during checking it. Probably it’s a plugin conflict but would need to verify it with the admin access.

February 28, 2017 at 9:56 pm #753263Hi,
@HuxburyQuinn: Can you create another thread and post the login details as well as ftp access (put it in Private Content), so we can also check on this? just post the link of the thread so I can check on it.
@Wildwood: thanks for sharing how it is fixed on your end :)Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 28, 2017 at 10:13 pm #753275Hi Nikki,
Thanks for the reply. The site was a clone from another install.
I used WP Migrate pro to export the database with find and replace for the new domain on the mysql file prior to exporting.
On the new site I dropped the database tables and imported the mysql file.
Updated all the plugins and WordPress etc.
However this is where the problems started…. and hence my frustration.
After some trolling…
I then installed ‘Better find and Replace’ plugin . After doing a “Domain Name” find and replace across the entire wordpress database – and reinstalled core wordpress folders – things seemed to settle down a bit.Still getting intermittent errors
I have over 20 sites running ENFOLDs and across the board I constantly get 404 page errors.
I will start another thread specifically for 404 page errors.
thanks!
March 1, 2017 at 1:23 am #753376We are the same problem. I opened a thread yesterday reporting edits using the avia form builder are not saving, now I have just learned it is the same problem when trying to add a text box!
Please check it out. My credentials below
Wordpress 4.7.2 | Enfold 4.0.1 with child
To reproduce, go the the About US page, edit and try inserting a text box over the headline Abramson, Brown & Dugan is New Hampshire’s premier medical malpractice law firm
You will get this far, but cannot save or cancel out of operation:

March 1, 2017 at 1:32 am #753381Update!
This fixed the issue of not being able to edit and save:
Go to Users > Your Profile, and uncheck the box “disable the visual editor when writing”
I’d still call this a bug. But at least we can get some work done.
March 1, 2017 at 7:06 pm #753877In the page presbook, the link extend to the whole text (and even footer) when they should be just on the images and titles.
I included new login credentials in the private content box.March 3, 2017 at 5:06 pm #755195Go to Users > Your Profile, and uncheck the box “disable the visual editor when writing”
Thank you! This “fixed” it for me too but as you say, it’s still a bug and not truly fixed.
March 6, 2017 at 5:25 am #756136Hi,
Thanks for sharing the solution and can confirm this. Will be reporting this to Kriesi and our devs hopefully this will be fixed in the future updates of Enfold :)
Best regards,
NikkoMarch 27, 2017 at 4:45 pm #767552Thank you freelancemom, your solution worked a treat!
Love the new preview mode, so looking forward to a fix for this :)
March 27, 2017 at 5:37 pm #767582@nikko we keep having the same problem with links on our website and have been waiting for support for almost a month now!!
The links to the news are supposed to be on the images and the tittles but they extent to the rest of the text (although they are isolated elements) and even to the footer! Could someone please help us with this issue?

March 29, 2017 at 8:10 am #768645Hi scienseed,
We are very sorry and apologize for that, can you give us the thread where your thread is unanswered?
I’ve checked it and noticed that in Special Heading you forgot to close the link tag
</a>
I have added it and fixed the issue. :)
