On my website http://nassauumpires.org, I am unable to save changes made with the advanced editor. Specifically, on the Officers page I clicked to edit the list (using the advanced editor), but after making the changes and clicking save, it goes back to the old text. I have updated to the newest version of Enfold, and tried a different browser – no luck. Also, the editor is very slow to load.
Any ideas?
November 27, 2015 at 10:21 pm #543862Hey webstrats!
It’s only that page? Try creating a new page and add your content in piece by piece to see which element is causing the problem.
Be sure to deactivate all plugins while testing.
Best regards,
ElliottNovember 28, 2015 at 12:27 am #543892I tried deactivating all the plugins and then could not see any of the text when trying to edit using the advanced editor. The same was true with a new page. When I teactivated some plugins, I was able to see but it still did not save.
November 28, 2015 at 7:24 pm #543977Hey!
Is it only that page? Do other pages save fine? Send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

November 30, 2015 at 2:31 pm #544494Hey!
@webstrats Login credentials are not working for me. Can you please check them once again? As @cherrmann mentioned, you have posted them publicly. Please always make sure to post your login credentials in private content field.
@cherrmann You are good at finding those publicly posted logins! Thanks for the heads up and for your good intentions :)Best regards,
YigitNovember 30, 2015 at 3:57 pm #544559I changed it after that comment. See in private area.

December 2, 2015 at 6:53 pm #546051Hi!
Your getting a few javascript errors. I deactivated your plugins and one of them went away.
Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.
Cheers!
ElliottDecember 3, 2015 at 4:14 am #546224I did that. Still cannot save edits to pages.
Customer is getting annoyed.
Pleas help.December 3, 2015 at 9:08 am #546293Hi,
I tried creating a test page but it’s not even possible to select the builder. Could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. I know you said you tried that already but something is obviously wrong with your installation.
Regards,
RikardDecember 3, 2015 at 11:07 pm #546730I deleted enfold yesterday and downloaded and reinstalled. I can try it again tonight but I am not optimistic.
December 4, 2015 at 10:55 am #546878Hi,
Did you try it again and did you have any luck? If the theme was reinstalled properly it would work as expect as it does for most users, if this was the default way the theme worked it would not work at all for anyone if you know what I’m trying to say here. So, if you have a clean installation of the theme the problem could be a plugin conflict, I know that you already tried this but please try to keep all plugins deactivated to avoid any conflicts. There are several Javascript errors when adding a new page so I believe the problem is a conflict with a plugin. Could you try to do that again please?

RikardDecember 5, 2015 at 3:10 am #547322Deleted and reinstalled Enfold. Still did not save. Deactivated plugins – could not view text to edit. One by one reactivated text, occasionally could edit but it did not save.
No improvement. Next?December 5, 2015 at 9:54 am #547403Hi,
Next? Send us FTP details so that we can have a look at the installation itself.

Thanks, that worked better! Next problem, all I can see is a single file called .ftpquota and I can’t navigate from the folder. Are you sure you have set the correct permissions for the account?
Regards,
RikardDecember 10, 2015 at 4:57 am #550143permissions shouldn’t be a problem. Do you see a folder called Public HTML? that is where the website is.
December 10, 2015 at 3:15 pm #550439Hi,
No, nothing except the file I mentioned before and I can’t navigate anywhere. The only option is back but it’s not working either. Could you try logging in and having a look for yourself?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 11, 2015 at 2:14 am #550799Fixed – was hitting the wrong directory. Go for it – thanks!
December 14, 2015 at 12:22 am #551869Has been fixed since Thursday evening. Any luck?
December 15, 2015 at 6:47 am #552811Hi,
I’m not sure what changes you have made but everything seems to be working as expected now, I created a test page and the builder works as it should there as well as on the Officers page you had problems with before. I added a row to your table on that page, please check it out.
Thanks,
Rikard -
