    Hi,

    I have changed the the media folder to /wp-content/uploads/
    Now I have the issue, that only 3 images are indexed on google search. These 3 images are from my front-page and taken out of the slide-show (full width). Only these images are indexed (they were indexed very fast – in between 24 hours).

    I added sitemaps to google search console weeks ago…

    No other image is indexed. Since weeks now. Might this issue come from the changed media folder? How can I fix that?
    Can I add the uploads folder: /wp-content/uploads/ to the robot txt as allowed? Could this help?

    Please check, I’m very desperate?

    What can I do?

    kind regards Jak

    Hey Jak73,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    This process might take a while, but you can ask Google to recrawl the site or the URLs so that they could re-index the pages and the images.

    // https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/ask-google-to-recrawl

    The sitemap is showing the appropriate number of images on every page as you can see in the sitemap page below. Did you recently install a different SEO plugin? (see private field)

    If possible, please refrain from opening duplicate threads.
