    Example

    I would like to:
    1. remove the thin border
    2. change the transparency of the background to eg. 0.4

    Any suggestions?

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab

    #top .av_header_transparency #header_meta { border: none; background: rgba(255,255,255,0.4); }

    That works but it looks as if it changed the page layout to boxed mode, where as I want it over the whole screen.

    Would be great if you could ave a look. As I said, the line should go and I want the background of the extra info to be semi transparent, not entirely.

    Here is what the addition of your code did to the header – the background of the extra info bar is still completely transparent and the menu has moved towards center, incl. the logo.

    Please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately. That definitely should not happen. You may have issues in your custom CSS code.
